Your journey

Limitless hiking on Usedom and Wollin

Endless beaches, the charm of the imperial baths and the idyll of thatched houses in the hinterland: On foot you can experience the most beautiful corners of Usedom and Wollin. Whether along the beautiful sandy beaches or across the dreamy hinterland – the sea view, in addition to the hikes, there are rocking boats on this jetty and the spicy scent of the maritime pine always accompany the hiker.

The landscape

What makes the two islands so special? It is the unique mixture of turquoise water and green land, of quiet villages and the sophisticated splendor of the imperial baths. Here the blue-white waves crash against the golden beach, here the Peene winds silently between meadows, fields and forest. On its banks – in the idyll of the hinterland – here and there a lonely fisherman’s house slumbers. Not far away – right at the mouth of the Swine – there is a lively port town. Blue and white, quiet and loud. The diversity of the Baltic Sea, which you can only experience in such a small space on Usedom and Wollin.

Hike the Baltic Coast!

And as soon as you lace up your boots and set off, the beauty of the two islands is revealed in all its glory. Because hiking is the best way to discover the highlights of Usedom and Wollin. The well-designed hiking trails, for example, lead along the steep cliffs, from which hikers can enjoy magnificent views of the Baltic Sea. Whether it’s the Gleislsberg on Usedom or the Kawcza Gora on Wollin – the views from the two viewing points are simply magnificent! Another hike goes along the German-Polish border. Where the border guards used to patrol is now free hiking land. You switch between Germany and Poland, from beautiful meadows to a dense forest. Then we go to Wiselka. Surrounded by the pine forests of the Wollin National Park is a small lake district that we walk around on quiet paths and forest paths. Another hike starts in Cammin/Kamien Pomorski. After visiting the cathedral, we walk along the banks of the Camminer Bodden to Wrzosowo. From here an old oak avenue leads us to the beach in Dziwnowek.
